Sinan Aral is the new Director of the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy. Sinan Aral is the David Austin Professor at MIT Sloan and Director of the Initiative on the Digital Economy. He is a leading expert on Social Networks, Social Media and Digital Strategy. His research focuses on social contagion, product virality and measuring and managing how information diffusion in social networks affects us and our economy.
